The town of Silverthorne has been working on creating a downtown area that will have shops and restaurants with residential condos above. A destination, if you will, that will have a similar appeal to Frisco’s Main Street. In recent years the Town Pavillion off Blue River Parkway has been the central point. Shops and restaurants surround it with the Outlet Stores and some condos across the Blue River. The Dillon Theater is the most recent addition. Future development will be on the other side of Blue River Parkway adding to the appeal of the area and allowing for more density of both commercial and residential establishments.
Silverthorne Real Estate
Eagles Nest, Hamilton Creek and Ruby Ranch are prestigious subdivisions located in Silverthorne. Eagles Nest is a golf course community, on the golf course now known as the Raven at Three Peaks, where you can see views of the Gore and Williams Fork Ranges. The Ruby Ranch area is one of few in the county with three acre parcels of land or more. You can have horses on some of the properties, or board them at the Ruby Ranch Stables. Hamilton Creek offers gorgeous views of the Gore Range, with abundant sunshine on one-half to one acre parcels.
The Wildernest Subdivision offers condominiums and duplexes at an affordable price. Buffalo Ridge, Timber Ridge, Watch Hill and Snowscape are just a few of the condominium complexes in this area. As you get to the top of the subdivision, you can gain views of the Continental Divide, Keystone Mountain and the Ten Mile Range. Many people like Wildernest because of the mountain feel and the trees.
The town of Silverthorne boundaries end as you head north but the addresses of the properties north to the county line are considered Silverthorne. As you head north on Hwy 9, the parcels of land get larger as do the views. These views of the Gore Range are some of the best views in the county. Out here you can get a 20 or 40 acre parcel that is likely horse property. If you like this area of the county but don’t want all that land, there are a few subdivisions that offer smaller, more reasonable parcels.
