Dillon Area Info
Dillon is a very popular area in the summer as well as the winter. Summers offer a farmer’s market, free concerts at the Dillon Amphitheatre and, the marina offers rentals, repairs and launching facilities. The world’s highest yacht club hosts weekly regattas and other aquatic special events. The paved rec path runs around the lake and across the county so grab your bike for a great ride any time. During the winter, Keystone Ski Resort is just a few miles down the road and once it’s frozen, the lake makes a good snow kiting area.

There are some great lake side complexes here including; Marina Place, Lake Cliffe, The Anchorage and East Bay to name a few. Dillon is working to revitalize the downtown core so new developments will likely be in the works for a few years to come. If you’re looking for more peace and quiet, Summit Cove is an area worth considering. Summit Cove is mostly single family homes but there are townhomes and condos in and around. The majority of the owners live there full time but there are still second homes and rentals throughout the area. Dillon Valley East and West Condominiums can be seen near I-70 as you come down from the tunnel. They are inexpensive units that do well as primary or second homes. Single family residences and duplexes with fantastic views are located in Corinthian Hills and Summerwood. If you are looking to buy on or near a lake, then Dillon is where you need to be.
