Another parking lot for skiers has gone away and is turning into real estate. As property values go up, the best use of slope side, pay parking lots is no longer revenue from a few cars. Luxury, ski-in, ski-out condos are a much more profitable venture. The Hunki Dori lot, next to the Gondola at Keystone‘s River Run Village, is the latest casualty. It makes way for a new Keystone ski-in ski-out development called Kindred.
Kindred is a new Keystone development
In addition to a new hotel, there will be 95 residential condominiums and commercial space for restaurants, a spa, ski club & event center in this Keystone ski-in, ski-out development. The residential condos will range in size from one to four bedrooms. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer on the world class development.
Reserve your spot in the lottery
Reservations for the luxury condos should start being available around mid-March. Putting down a refundable, earnest money deposit will enter you into a lottery for a phase 1 property. The drawing is expected to take place in early April. Those drawn will get to buy their choice of the remaining ski-in, ski-out homes.
River Run at Keystone Resort
The new Keystone development is next to the gondola in River Run. River Run is a vibrant area during ski season. It is the main base area for the ski mountain. Many restaurants, bars and shops dot the walkways throughout the village. Concerts and events happen year ’round in River Run Village. It is also home of Warren Station. That means you’ll be close to amazing concerts, comedy shows and more.
More information about this Keystone development should be available very soon.
