At the Dillon Town Council meeting on September 21st, the council voted not to enact the proposed short term rental license moratorium. They could go through this process again and put one into place at a later date, but for now, they have decided to let things ride while they do more research. There will be no moratorium in Dillon.
The proposed moratorium would have halted new short term rental licenses for seven months. No new licenses would have been granted until after April 30, 2022.
Moving forward it is business as usual for short term rental licenses in Dillon. At least for now.
