Halloween transforms Main Street in Frisco into a spooky haunt full of zombies, witches & vampires. Dogs, kids & adults all don costumes and come out to celebrate All Hallow’s Eve. Frisco Trick or Treat Street is an annual event that brings the kids to Frisco to trick or treat at businesses. Here, a trove of candy can be collected in just a few blocks rather than trekking miles through the mountain neighborhoods.
Halloween Schedule
Main Street closes to vehicles at 3:00 as the local businesses and Historic Park prepare for about a thousand trick or treaters to hit Frisco Trick or Treat Street. First, a dog parade will head down Main Street. Costumed dogs, and often their owners, strut their stuff Halloween style. A train will run up and down the street offering rides for the little ones. Trick or treating goes from 5-7 PM as the sun goes down. Restaurants are open if there’s a need for some non-sugar packed nourishment. Or quench your thirst at a local bar. But the focus on this night is really all on the kids.
Trick or Treaters
This year will probably have a lot of Barbie & Ken, Mario & Luigi, Maverick and, of course, Taylor Swift costumes, along with the more traditional princesses & the more recent addition of blow up dinosaurs. There are always some impressive individual and family costumes. It is a fun event with lots of laughter, and a few scary moments with wide eyed little ones, unsure what is going on.
We hand out candy from our office to a steady stream of trick or treaters every year. Come on out on Halloween and check out this year’s costumes and décor.
