Every Halloween Main Street in Frisco is closed to traffic and the ghouls and goblins of all ages make their appearance as the sun goes down. Princesses, dinosaurs and superheros line the streets. Laughter and shouts of trick or treat fill the crisp evening air. Merchants along Main Street open their doors and hand out candy to the kids for Trick or Treat Street in Frisco. Each year Mountain Living Real Estate gets to participate in the fun.
Decorations & Costumes
We have a blast decorating the office and dressing up ourselves. Then, once we have the cobwebs strung across the doorway and fresh batteries in the motion activated decor, we anxiously await the 6pm start time. Generally, there are a few early birds stopping by just before 6:00. Then, before you know it, the kids start trickling in. There are just a few at first and then a never ending line. The costumes are great! We always see clowns and a variety of animals, classics like characters from the Wizard of Oz and Disney movies, and whatever the new, pop culture characters are.
A Community Event
The Next Page always has amazing decorations. It seems like every year is a different theme from a book. They go all out. A lot of the merchants on Main Street really get into it. Even if you aren’t trick or treating, a spooky walk down Main is a real treat. Halloween is just a fun holiday!
If you want to come by and join in the fun, stop by. Trick or Treat Street goes from 6-8PM. This year Ten Mile Music Hall has an after party with free music and a costume contest. We’ll have some snacks & drinks and, of course, candy! If you haven’t done Trick or Treat Street in Frisco yet, come on out. What are ya, scared?
