Can you hear me now? How about now? Then I’m saying it again as I walk around the office before heading outside. These are my phone conversations in Frisco these days. That’s if I am lucky enough for my phone to ring and the call not just go directly to my voicemail. I spend a lot of time in Frisco so that’s where I notice if most but, unfortunately, it’s not just Frisco. I have been experiencing poor cell service in Summit County everywhere. It’s not unusual to ask Google or Siri a question when I’m out and about and be told to try again later because they are not online.
Many Feel the Effects
Realtors in this county can be a pretty grumbly bunch, especially when something impacts our ability to do business. Quite a few Realtors have reached out to our Summit County Realtor Association to find out what is going on with the poor cell service in Summit County. So many in fact, that our board has reached out to the town of Breckenridge and to Summit County to try and get answers for us.
High Priority
Both the town and county have said this is a high priority for them and have reached out to providers about it. They are telling us that the very best way to get change to happen is by having individuals call tech support. Not just one or two people calling, but enough to leave them with no question that there is a service problem in the county. That means we all must take action.
Take Action
If you would like to see better cell service in Summit County, take the time to call 611 on your mobile device, when you happen to have service. Tell where you are experiencing issues like dropped calls and poor cell or internet service.
Thank you for your help!

The Summit Daily just had an article about the Verizon cell tower being built right now. Here’s the link to it: https://www.summitdaily.com/news/verizon-to-complete-new-frisco-cell-tower-by-end-of-2019/ I’m sure it will help the Verizon people in Frisco but still make your voices heard to all the cell phone companies.
