In partnership with High Country Conservation Center, HC3, the Town of Frisco is working to Solarize Frisco. The town is offering a $1500 solar rebate for homeowners in Frisco during May! In addition, the program’s installer is stacking an extra $300 rebate on top. If you have been considering adding solar to your home, now may be the time to do it.
Breckenridge and Summit County solar rebate
Frisco is not the only area offering this solar rebate for homeowners. If you own in the Town of Breckenridge or in unincorporated Summit County (areas outside of any town boundaries) the $1500 solar rebate is available through your local government also.
Additional rebates and incentives
The rebates continue to pile up with the federal government offering a solar rebate for homeowners too. If you install solar in 2022, the federal government offers a 26% rebate or 22% if installation happens in 2023. The rebate will expire in 2024 unless congress extends it again.
You may also qualify for payments from Xcel Energy for renewable energy credits your system generates. Xcel offers several other energy saving rebates you may also qualify for.
Applying is easy
Because each area has teamed up with HC3, the application process is easy. Just visit High Country Conservation’s website. You can get more information on costs & savings and sign up for your free, no obligation consultation with the installer, Active Energies.
Limits on local rebates
If you are considering adding solar to your home, don’t wait. The local, solar rebate for homeowners is limited and only applies to those that sign a contract during the month of May.
