Summit County Short Term Rentals are Available Again!

Keystone Lake in Keystone ColoradoI never knew these words would sound so sweet. Summit County short term rentals are available! That’s right, Summit County is back in business! Come on out and enjoy the hiking and biking. Enjoy the beautiful, summer weather. Gaze at those mountain views. Everything Summit County has to offer is, once again, available to everyone – at 50% capacity, of course.

Book Your Room

Effective June 1st, Short term rentals, in both hotels and condos, are available for rent. That means visitors are once again welcome. If you are a visitor, take a minute and read about Summit County requirements. Physical distancing is a must. So are masks in public. Enjoy the great outdoors, even skiing A-Basin, as long as the snow will last, but please be respectful and don a mask when inside public spaces or when 6′ of space isn’t possible. Wash your hands a bunch! It is very dry here so bring a lot of lotion. You will need it after all this hand washing. Please don’t come if you are sick.

Extra Cleaning

Extra cleaning and disinfecting measures should be in place for wherever you plan to stay while you’re in town. You may want to confirm that with your host. A minimum of 3 hours of vacancy after a guest is necessary to let airborne germs to find a place to settle. If possible, 24 hours is preferred. Housekeeping services should clean and sterilize your accommodations. 100% germ free is virtually impossible so you should take your own precautions and continue to wash your hands a lot and avoid touching your face.

Businesses are Open

Summit County businesses are doing everything they can to keep everyone safe. 50% capacity is now maximum occupancy for indoor spaces. Both Breckenridge and Frisco will be shutting down sections of their Main Streets to vehicle traffic in order to provide more space to local businesses. Expect a quaint stroll through town on the Pedestrian Promenade. Enjoy a meal outdoors from a local restaurant. Shop under a tent for those Summit County souvenirs. A new experience awaits. A discount program for those purchases you make in town is in the works too. Be sure and check with the locals and get the details about it.

Summit County is Still Fantastic!

There’s extra elbow room here! It’s easy to stay 6′ apart in the middle of the National Forest. Or in the middle of Lake Dillon. This year’s events will be different. They will be smaller. They will be masked. But the adventure doesn’t stop. The Summit County area is an amazing place to be. It always has been, and probably always will be. Never fear, your 2020 Summit County vacation will not disappoint!
