Every where you go in the county it’s build, build, build. New homes, new multi-unit developments, and new commercial developments are everywhere. Frisco is no different. Here are some of the larger projects for new construction in Frisco
9097 Flats
This project is underway already. The aspen meadow next to the preschool on Main Street has been replaced with a lot of construction equipment. It will be 36 one, two, and three bedroom units plus several retail spaces.
Prospector’s Market Place
This is the old Rainbow Court building. It was demolished a while back, has had some issues and is now back in the planning stages. It will be similar to the Bluebird Marketplace in Silverthorne with several restaurants sharing the eating areas. Of course, there will also be some residential units on the upper levels.
Tango Townhomes
This is not a large development, only 3 townhomes on this parcel. But because it is going to replace the old dance studio currently at 4th & Granite, it is worth mentioning.
101 W Main Street
A three story, multi-use building will be replacing the office building on this parcel. Current plans show two commercial spaces and 16 residential units on the first floor plus 18 units on both the second and third floors. That’s a total of 52 residential and 2 commercial units.
602 Galena St
A 54 unit, deed restricted, rental complex is in the works for the parcel that is currently the old Frisco Workforce Center. The plans for this project are preliminary and still have a substantial way to go.
Prime Sauce, 20 E Main St
The old Blue Spruce is in planning for a new, modern development with restaurant space on the main floor and 9 residential units above. This site is currently the home of Frisco Prime. My guess, based on the name of the project, is that it would remain after construction is complete.
Sky Haus Lofts
A development behind and/or connected to the old Log Cabin Restaurant consists of one residential and one commercial space. Previous plans called for several residential units. That plan has apparently changed.
Most of this new construction in Frisco is in the planning process and may have changes prior to receiving full approval. Just because the plans have been made or are in the works does not mean the development will ever happen. New construction is like life, things change and the plans don’t always come to be.
Let us know if there’s a local project you are wondering about or have a look at the new construction currently available for sale in the MLS.
